Do It Yourself Cancers

The # 4 killer disease in America today is cancer. Many cancers are turning out to be do-it-yourself diseases. We promote them by chronic exposure to certain environmental factors, what we eat and drink, where we live and work, and what we breathe may well determine whether we become a cancer statistic.

“He who lives looking for pleasures only, his senses uncontrolled, immoderate in his food, idle, and weak, Mara (the tempter) will certainly overthrow him, as the wind throws down a weak tree.  He who lives without looking for pleasures, his senses well controlled, moderate in his food, faithful and strong, him Mara will certainly not overthrow, any more than the wind throws down a rocky mountain.” – Gospel of Peace Chapter 1:7 & 8.

Do We Bring Cancer On Ourselves?

Medical science continues as to make strides toward earlier detection and improved treatments for many cancers. But these efforts are largely after the fact. The sad truth is that the overall death rates from many cancers continue to rise.  One in four American lives is now being claimed by cancer.  One in four! That’s nearly one member out of each American family according to the statistic from Hope International.

This trend, however, could be reversed by following GOD’S PLAN and Natural Health Laws as mentioned in this book.  We simply need to take the precautions that we already know about; 70-80 percent of the cancers that afflict Americans could be prevented.  Are you ready to prevent you or one of your family members from cancer?

It seems to me most people would want to do most anything to avoid the killer disease cancer. But unfortunately, most are not interested in the change of lifestyle.  Take lung cancer for example: caused generally by smoking or secondary smoke. It’s cancer that kills more men and women in the United States than any other.

Yet, one out of four Americans continues to puff. Close to 90 percent of the cancers of the lung, lip, mouth, tongue, throat, and esophagus could be prevented if people simply stopped using tobacco products (all tobacco products). By doing so it would also prevent half the bladder cancers.

Looking at the agony created by chemotherapy, radiation, surgical removal of body parts or dependence on a lifetime of prescription drugs that often cause more problems than they solve, I find it somewhat dumbfounding (though heartbreaking) when I hear people say, “Oh, I wouldn’t want to mess with wheat grass and preparation of raw foods., just pass the meat and let me eat!”

Does Diet Have Anything To Do With Cancer?

In men the second and third most frequently occurring cancers are those of the prostate and colon. For women, it’s cancers of the breast and colon. Extensive evidence links nearly 50 % of these cancers to “affluent lifestyle.”

Social drinking contributes to 75 percent esophagus cancer, 50 percent mouth cancer, 50 percent larynx cancer, and 30 percent liver cancer (I think also soft drinks contribute significantly to liver cancer as well).

The other culprits for concern are cancer producing carcinogens:

Ø Additives to processed foods Ø Preservatives of every sort Ø Flavor enhancers, Ø Pesticides  Ø And an array of other chemicals we use in producing and marketing our food.

However, according to statistics and research reports only 2 % of all the cancers can be reliably inked to carcinogens (cancer-producing chemicals).  In contrast, evidence of the connection between cancer and such dietary factors as fiber and fat grows stronger every day.

Compared with diets around 1900, the average American now eats one-third more fat and one-third less fiber. In areas of the world in which fat intake is low and fiber high, the incidence of colon, breast, and prostate cancers are negligible. In Canada, and New Zealand, where diets are low in fiber and high in fat, the rates for these kinds of cancers are much higher.

Fiber and Fat Influence Cancer?

Not all the answers are in yet, but cancer is associated with carcinogens and chemical irritants that can produce cancerous lesions over time.   According to the U.S. Council on Environmental Quality…”The cancer risk to people who drink chlorinated water is 93 percent higher than those who don’t.”

Back to such things as fiber and fat in the diet. Bile acids are an example. The amount of fat in the diet affects the amount of bile the body produces. In the intestinal tract, some of these bile acids can form irritating carcinogenic compounds. The longer these compounds stay in contact with the lining of the colon, the more irritation results.

This is where fiber comes in. With a low-fiber diet, material moves slowly through the intestines, often taking from 72 hours to five days to complete the journey from entry to exit. Most fibers absorb water like a sponge. This helps fill the intestines and stimulates them to increase activity.

With a high-fiber diet, food travels through the intestines in 24 – 36 hours. This helps fill the colon in two ways. It shortens the exposure to irritating substances, and it dilutes the concentration of the irritants thanks to fiber’s water-holding power and insulating effect.

How Does Diet Relate To Cancers?

A high fat intake depresses the activity of important cells in the body’s immune system. This effect has been studied extensively in connection with breast cancer and may affect other types of cancer as well.

Excessive alcohol consumption increases the risk for cancers of the esophagus and pancreas and does so dramatically for those who smoke as well.  We know excess weight raises the risk of breast cancer, colon cancer, and prostate cancer.

Then there are such things as exposure to asbestos, side stream smoke, and toxic chemicals. Excessive drinking of water can cause the imbalance of electrolytes as experienced by my husband. Do you enjoy swimming in a community chlorinated drenched pool? Do you drink beverages loaded with caffeine, high fructose syrup or corn syrup? High amounts of caffeine are known to be the cause of fibrosis tissue in the breast (precursor to cancer) and wreak havoc on the nervous system.

When I stopped all caffeine in my diet during my postmenopausal years, I lost all signs of fibrocystic disease in my breast. That was a better choice for me than losing my breast to surgery. Doctors, for 15 years, advised removal of the breast because they believed the fibrosis tissue was a precursor to breast cancer. No way Hosea.

So How Does One Prevent and Overcome Cancer Symptoms?

A magic pill would be nice. If such a thing existed, wouldn’t you and I and half the country race to the local health food or drug store to buy such a pill? People would flock to their doctors, and the inventors would be wealthy beyond belief.

But unfortunately, no such pill exists. Though I think the medical association, unfortunately, believes chemo therapy is a magic pill, and many patients, race to have chemo due to time pressures put on them by their doctors.

Again, if you’ll pardon my personal subjectivity, my last OBGYN examined me in October 2005 (it’s now August 12, 2017, as of this writing) and detected two walnut sized lumps, one in each breast, and insisted I race to the hospital for a mammogram, an ultra sound and finally a lumpectomy (all which were to determine if I had a “suspicious lump”) and finally the removal of my breasts immediately. She expected me to live only three weeks.  Talk about scared! But that is another story for another time.

What Cancer Research Doesn’t Want You to Know About Tumors

Tumors take their energy from glucose and turn it into lactic acid which must be broken down by the liver. Unfortunately, the liver converts lactic acid to glucose. This cycle is called cachexia (pronounced kakek-see-ah) and is responsible for the wasting away that is typical of cancer patients. Hydrazine sulfate, sometimes referred to as HZ or HS, is designed to stop this wasting away.

Hydrazine sulfate’s popularity grew rapidly after the publicity generated at the 1974 NHF (National Health Federation) convention by Dr. Joseph Gold, director of the Syracuse Cancer Research Institute in Syracuse, New York.

Hydrazine sulfate was demonstrating good results, but it was getting too popular. The FDA decided to put on the brakes and withdrew the INDs (Investigational New Drug number). After that, funding dried up, and companies withdrew their interest in researching the drug, despite the fact that the drug was showing the good response in a number of studies.

The drug’s discoverer, Dr. Joseph Gold had found that HS reacted badly if patients were taking other drugs, especially tranquilizers. Several warnings were given to NCI before it began its test. The warnings were explicit. Patients could DIE if they were taking tranquilizers. In a study done by NCI, to test the product HZ, all patients died. DEAD. Why?

Because the NCI, did not heed the warning by Dr. Joseph Gold that participates in the study were not to be on any type of tranquilizer. Thus, his work was considered fraudulent and no fault found in the NCI negligence. How pitiful!

WARNING

Certain classes of medications, including mood altering medications such as tranquilizers and antidepressants can cause fatal interactions with hydrazine sulfate and should be avoided. Ask your physician about all your medications and over-the counter remedies to make sure they are compatible with taking a MAO inhibitor like hydrazine sulfate.

Avoid These Foods while taking Hydrazine Sulfate

Hydrazine Sulfate inhibits an enzyme that breaks down monoamines (serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine). These are chemicals used by our brain and affect our mood. MAO metabolizes tyramine, an amino acid. When taking a MAO inhibitor, tyramine is not broken down, and eating foods with tyramine can raise blood pressure and heart beat and cause headaches. Most of the foods containing tyramine are not very healthy so it is good to be avoiding them anyway.

Foods containing tyramine are mostly aged, fermented, or pickled, such as most cheeses (except cottage cheese, cream cheese, and fresh Mozzarella), lunch meats, hot dogs, yogurt, wines, and beers.

A complete list of foods that contain tyramine:

Dry and fermented sausage (bologna, salami, pepperoni, corned beef, and liver), · pickled herring and salted dried fish, · broad beans and pods (lima, fava beans, lentils, snow peas, and soy beans), · meat extracts,  · yeast extracts/brewer’s yeast, beer and ale, red wine (Chianti, burgundy, sherry, vermouth),  · sauerkraut,  · some fruits (bananas, avocados, canned figs, raisins, red plums, raspberries, pineapples),  · cultured dairy products (buttermilk, yogurt, and sour cream),  · chocolate,  · caffeine (coffee, tea, and cola drinks),  · white wine, port wines, distilled spirits,  · soy sauce,  · miso,  · peanuts,  · almonds,  · beef or chicken liver,  · herring, · meat tenderizer,  · MSG (Accent),  · pickles,  · and pumpkin seeds.
